Creative Product Design (CPD)

6 credits

Creative Product Design is an introductory course in interdisciplinary product development and the global collaborative education. In this course, each interdisciplinary team explores the entire process of product development from an idea to market implementation. Each week, there are several lectures and workshops about various technologies and knowledge about product design. The teams during the semester generate and prototype various ideas and in the end chose one to develop and make a functional model.

  • 01 The main aim is to develop a Product Design Concept while using Design Thinking process
  • 02 Team based Projects (within 5-6 students per team)
  • 03 Project Operations and Management are supervised by Professors for each team
  • 04 Final Deliverables are presented in a Gala Night by the end of the semester
  • 05 Total class students: 40 (8 students from different departments)
